Our couple’s therapy services are intended to promote and point out strengths of both partners in their relationships, help them address unmet needs for healthier life style/relationships as they learn to improve their ways of communication.

Premarital/post marital counseling: 12 sessions of counseling based reflective, preventive and problem solving program skills and designed to assist couples to begin on a solid foundation of communication of respect and love. This program encourages couples to set clear goals as a couple. Identify the important values with which they will live to conduct their lives. Help them to take a look at the situations couples argue and separate over such as money, children, work, family/in-laws, physical health/wellness, sex, home life/chores and religion/spiritual life.

Effective family therapy is one that “harnesses the power of the family to heal itself.” Our therapy services are designed to help you nurture the power of you and your family to heal, encourage you to see your relationships in a more objective way and empower each family member to find means to modify unwanted behaviors and express emotions and thoughts with each other with less fear. Our services are also committed to help parents to address parenting skills. We can help parents find creative and effective ways of parenting. As they change certain aspects of their interaction with their children, they can become consistent about rules and confident with providing consequences.

Anticipating the impact of loss or trauma, each person has unique emotional experiences and ways of coping, of grieving and of reacting or not. Weeping, painful feelings of sadness, anger, shock, guilt, helplessness and outrage are not uncommon. These feelings are all part of a natural healing process and we are here to help make sure you deal with your grief or trauma in a healthy way. Our therapists incorporate a variety of treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, and expressive therapies such as art and play therapy.

Our drug and alcohol program seeks to provide possibilities for persons seeking empowerment and motivation out of alcohol and drug addiction. Skills building and educational groups are offered at our satellite office and transition house, Women in Circle. An essential part of the healing process involves healing relationships. We offer parenting skills for clients in recovery.


Employee AssistanceEmployee Assistance (EAP)

This service is designed to assist individuals who seek help with issues concerned with employment place including issues related to substance abuse. This program allows individuals address their issues using individual sessions, family groups, and Chemical Dependency Education classes (when needed).
